Mask Version

7. Titania & Oberon

These "night" characters also have black costumes and masks.

Though Titania and Oberon are formally dressed (as if for a concert or a wedding), their masks alienate the familiar, reminding us that they are "forces of the night' rather than "real people". This is a more sinister moment than School 11. Fairy rulers closeup where the angelic wings of our quarrellers seem to undercut the moment's tensions.

Note Oberon's fashionably turned up jacket sleeves and Titania's abundance of gauze.
